What do I need to do to join the club?

First, come out to one of the group rides. You’ll meet some of the team and be able to see how you think you’d fit in. You might also want to meet and talk to one the club leaders, Susan Helm or Suzie Hosman. One of them should be on almost any given ride. See also: Requirements for Membership

What happened to the Meadowmont Classic crit?

Unfortunately, the traditional course at Meadowmont has had speed bumps installed and is no longer practical as a venue. We’d like to thank the Meadowmont community for hosting us for five years and allowing us to put on a top-notch sporting event.

The 2007 Meadowmont Classic Criterium was held Sunday, April 29, 2007. The Tri-Cyclists donated all race proceeds — $3,500 — to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill.

Why aren’t my race results listed on your Meadowmont Crit page?

We’ve posted all the results we have. If you have questions, please contact

Does any store in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area rent bikes?

Yes. The Bicycle Chain’s Durham store rents both road and mountain bikes. (Other Bicycle Chain locations do not.) Call the Durham store for details: (919)286-2453 or 888-286-2453.

Do you guys really ride tricycles?

No. But these guys do.
